Selection logic

Specify the close by feel and function.

A strong snap is not automatically a better closure. The right configuration should close reliably, align cleanly, avoid unnecessary material, and suit the product inside.

  • Lid span, hinge direction, overlap, opening angle, and intended one- or two-hand use
  • Product weight, insert support, removal path, accessories, and documentation
  • Closure position, number of contact points, alignment, polarity, and acceptable feel
  • Assembled or collapsible format, packing labor, storage, master cartons, and delivery

Construction layers

Every layer changes the finished close.

Board, wrap, hinge, closure pieces, and insert are reviewed as one assembly because small changes can affect alignment and opening behavior.

Insert engineering

The product should not compete with the closure.

The insert carries the product load and controls its presentation. It should also leave practical access for removal and keep critical product areas away from unintended pressure.
